This may be the most unique poster that Illini basketball has ever produced. It introduced Lou Henson, the University of Illinois' new coach. Lou's first club finished with a 14-13 overall record, highlighted by a one-point victory over No. 17 Michigan, a team that eventually played undefeated Indiana for the NCAA title. Henson's starting lineup typically included Audie Matthews, Mike Washington, Nate Williams, Otho Tucker, Rick Leighty and Rich Adams.
