Lon Kruger's final squad, the 1999-00 Illini, finished 21st in the national rankings and played two games in the NCAA Tournament. Captained by Victor Chukwudebe, the starting lineup usually featured Lucas Johnson, Sergio McClain, Marcus Griffin, Brian Cook, Cory Bradford and/or Frank Williams. Other key players included Robert Archibald, Damir Krupalija and Sean Harrington.
